  • Domestic Violence: Violation of a Restraining Order - Client facing 2 counts of violating a domestic violence restraining order.  RESULT: JURY TRIAL = NOT GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES

 

  • Felony False Imprisonment - Client charged with felony false imprisonment facing max of 3 years in prison.  RESULT: CHARGE DISMISSED AT PRELIMINARY HEARING

 

  • Felony Strike Gun Charge - Client facing 4 charges including felony strike for allegedly discharging a firearm with reckless disregard for human life.  RESULT: ENTIRE CASE DISMISSED AT PRELIMINARY HEARING

 

  • DUI - Client crashed into police vehicle and was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.  RESULT: DMV Suspension Set Aside and Criminal Case Dismissed

 

  • Insurance Fraud/Identity Theft - Client accused of stealing the identity of three auto insurance agents and selling bogus insurance policies to 36 individual victims resulting in losses of over $30,000.00. San Diego County Probation Department recommended prison at sentencing. RESULT: 30 days community service at a church or non-profit organization - No Custody

 

  • Conspiracy to Commit Assault on Behalf of Criminal Street Gang - Client accused of conspiracy to commit assault for allegedly jumping out of vehicle with alleged gang members carrying weapons and attempting to "hit someone up."  RESULT: Charged dismissed as a result of plea deal.

 

  • Assault w/a Deadly Weapon and Personal Use of Screwdriver - Client accused of stabbing victim in face with a screwdriving.  Client was facing 2 strikes and had 12 previous convitions.  RESULT: Plea agreement to no strike and 4 months in work furlough. 

 

  • Assault w/a Deadly Weapon and Personal Use of Brick - Client accused of using a brick to commit assault with a deadly weapon.  RESULT: Charge dismissed at Preliminary Hearing.

 

  • Felony Child Endangerment - Client accused of felony child endangerment for allegedly attacking someone at a park with a 3 year old child with him. RESULT: Charge dismissed at Preliminary Hearing.

 

  • Hit and Run - Client accused of hit and run causing injury.  RESULT: Case Dismissed before trial because of defense investigation.

 

  • Sale of Meth & Child Endangerment - Client accused of selling 1/2 pound of meth to undercover DEA agent with 4 year child present at scene. San Diego County Probation Department recommended custody at sentencing. RESULT: 80 hours community service - No custody.

 

  • Robbery - Client charged with robbing a liquor store with pepperspray and gun. RESULT: Charge Dismissed as a result of plea deal.

 

  • Battery causing serious bodily injury - Client accused of getting in bar fight and punching the alleged victim after he was unconscious. RESULT: Charge dismissed as a result of plea deal.

 

  • DUI DMV Hearing - Client with alleged 0.20% BAC.  RESULT: Suspension Set Aside.

 

  • Felony Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell - Client accused of possessing mushrooms and heroine with intent to sell.  RESULT: Plea agreement for misdemeanor possession and diversion.

 

  • Felony Transportation of Controlled Substance - Client accused of transporting meth. RESULT: Charge Dismissed.

 

  • Felony Domestic Violence - Client accused of battering his spouse. RESULT: Charge Dismissed.

 

  • Child Endangerment - Client accused of battering his spouse in front of their children. RESULT: Charged dismissed.
